Meg believes that stories are the closest things to magic in our world. Simply by reading the stories of others we can change, learn and grow. She’s devoted her professional life to writing and educating through story to create a world that is more empowered, aware, meaningful and connected.

Meg is an award-winning writer and educator who has worked in the arts and entertainment industry for fifteen years. Like a contemporary Jane Austen, Meg uses romantic comedy as a way to challenge outdated social norms through love and laughter. Her stories show the beauty, vulnerability, and humor of the human experience with love, empathy, joy, and an incredibly truthful quirkiness. Through her work with PBS, she has worked with The Jim Henson Company, The Fred Rogers Company, Children’s Television Workshop (Sesame Street), the team of Downton Abbey, among others. Through theater she has used storytelling as a medium for empowerment and healing in many communities, but her heart has always been in working with those in high violence/high crime areas as well as within the prison system. She also uses writing for women’s rights activism, and was featured in Al Jazeera for International Women’s Day 2021. Her first novel is currently pursuing publication.
